Now that Junior is at the new white school his best friend Rowdy doesn't like him anymore. Junior tries to be nice to him during Thanksgiving. He goes up to his house because he drew him a picture but his dad said that he was not home. It turns out that he was home because Junior saw him trough the window. He didn't rip up the drawing thought.
I think that this means that Rowdy still wants to be friends with Junior. He jut doesn't want to show it because he probably thinks that it would make him look soft. This book keeps getting better and better. I hope all of the fighting disappears between the two friends so that they can come back together. Overall, I really like this bookend hope it keeps getting more interesting.
I agree, I think that deep down Rowdy wants to be friends. The symbolism when he doesn't rip up the picture shows this.
ReplyDeleteI too want the fighting between Rowdy and Arnold to end. Keep up the good work.
