Scene From LOTF

The scene that I am doing from Lord of the flies is when piggy dies. Readers need to understand that piggy was almost Ralph's last hope for his side of the Island. He was the only one who still believed in the rules. One example is only talking if you have the conch. The bad thing is when piggy dies so does the conch. This happens on page 181"The conch is gone."
This is a very important scene in the book because Piggy is also the brains in Ralph's tribe. He is like the super ego in our class discussion. He makes sure that the tribe is not doing anything stupid. Piggy dying is also very important because Ralph need as many people as he can get for his tribe. Now all he has is Sam and Eric. That is not enough to take over Jack's tribe, as we later find out.

  1. The scene when Piggy died was a huge point in the book. The way you explained the scene to the audience was very accurate.
